It was a great opportunity to get our Snowvan introduced by the famous Momofuku chef on Youtube. Snowvan is the most popular bingsu machine that is used in most major cafes and bakeries in Korea.

1. Unboxing
Snowvan comes with Snowvan machine, liquid container, liquid valve, dispenser tray, drum cover, water tubes and electric wire.
2. Getting ready
It is not shown in this video but the water tube needs to be installed to the faucet and drainage to have water in and out. It is important to place this in the right place to be connected to the water source & drain.
3. Making snowflake shaved ice
Once the switch is on, the cooling drum turns the liquid to the finest and softest shaved ice in just 5 seconds. Due to this rapid cooling process in -50’C, the ice can maintain its amazingly soft texture.
You can use any kind of liquid (no seeds or pulp from juices) – alcohol, juice, milk, beer, wine, etc. can be used to create the finest ice with the Snowvan.

4. Enjoy your bingsu with various toppings
Add any toppings to the top of shaved ice and enjoy!
